Up for sale is a 2003 Fender American Vintage ’57 Stratocaster in White Blonde, inspired by the iconic Mary Kaye aesthetic. This is an original Fender AVRI ’57 that served as a perfect canvas for tasteful upgrades: the previous owner swapped out the hardware for gold vintage-spec components to complete the Mary Kaye vibe, and installed a full Fender Custom Shop Texas Special pickup set (these are worth over $300), an excellent tonal upgrade

Weighing in at just 6.8 lbs, this Strat is incredibly resonant and responsive, with all the punch, sparkle, and warmth you’d expect/ The nitrocellulose finish has aged beautifully with a natural yellowing that adds character (See the under pickguard difference), and there’s just the right amount of honest play wear throughout.

The neck is an incredible, very comfortable Soft V all maple with 7.25″ radius and 1.650″ nuts width and 21 frets.

The guitar comes with its original tweed tolex case, original neck plate with matching serial (verifiable on Fender.com), inspection tag, and case candy.
